I would like to give a big THANK YOU and a nice warm hug, to James A. Best, for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award. To be acknowledged by my peers, makes me feel welcomed into their community. I’ve just started following his blog, and I must say, that I’m enjoying the read so far. He writes from the heart, and he doesn’t shy away from sharing his thoughts with us. I recommend you check out his blog.

What is The Sunshine Blogger Award?

The Sunshine Blogger Award is given to those who are creative, positive and inspiring, while spreading sunshine to the blogging community.

The Sunshine Blogger Award Rules Are:

  1. Thank the Blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  2. List the rules and display an award logo on your blog post.
  3. Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.
  4. Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and notify them by commenting on any of their blog posts.
  5. Ask the nominees 11 new questions.

James A. Best’s 11 Questions to me:

  1. What is your favorite ice cream? Sadly, I can’t eat ice cream anymore.
  2. What is your favorite type of salad? Cesar salad
  3. Have you ever ate Buffalo meat? nope
  4. Do you enjoy gardening? I do, and I have a green thumb, but I never garden anymore because I associate it with the discovery of my colon cancer in 2005.
  5. What type of music is playing in your home all the time? I love all kinds of music (except Rap), but my go to music to get things done is 80’s music.
  6. What makes you smile? Writing my blog.
  7. What is your go to book to read and relax? Any Paranormal or Metaphysical book will do.
  8. Would you rather live in the country or a city? These days, I’m leaning towards the country.
  9. Do you or have you ever done any skiing? I tried water skiing once. Not a fan. Never tried snow skiing.
  10. What is your favorite genre of movies and why? Fantasy for sure because I enjoy seeing something from someone’s imagination come to life. The writer in me just loves that.
  11. Do you think there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? One can only hope there is.

  1. Congrats! I like your answers! One of the things that stood out for me is that you are leaning towards country. I was also a totally city person, but now I definitely prefer calmness over the city crowd. Maybe there is a trend here!

  2. Congratulations. Thank you for the nomination, I certainly appreciate it. I did so many of these a few years back, before having 3300+ followers. Now, I have to pass on them.

    I have been a freelance writer for around 27 years, and once most stop paying, I decided to write for pleasure.

    Reading the questions, one made me ponder enough to share here. Choosing out of city or country, I’d prefer the proportionate combination of mostly sweet city and occasionally salty country for the respective necessities and recreations in the water of living.
